This mask was disappointing. Dream Rider mask would've been far better.

Just a single silver dye.

Oh look, every female warrior in Guild Wars.
Mask looks like it was design in 1995. Glad I skipped the event.

Too bad I've been using this armor combo since day 1 of the NF release (with the obvious exception of the Chaos Gloves. I used to use 15k Gladiator Gauntles pre-EotN).

I used my tokens to get sweets instead. Got me 750 points for 80K by trading 10 stacks of tokens for creme brulee. Very happy. Its better than buying bean cakes and getting 500 pts per 100K

Same here, I want one I have a >4 year old account but missed all the events in the early goings (bad timing I guess). I wish there was some way to get them, a lot of the early masks look awesome.

Mine gets comments every year as I wear it until I get the new one. Newer players start asking to buy it.

I like the new Mask very much, you can tell who ever worked on it, they put a lot of work in it, well at least i can seeing that i know what it takes to model these type of times.
I see more people who like it, then don't, which is always a good thing, after all its free and if you don't like it, you don't got to wear it.

This is precisely what people don't realize. The mask, imo, looks much more detailed from the traditional style that is normally used with festival hats.

Thanks for your gendered assumptions /sarcasm.

Agreed. I love the new mask, though, because it's kind of ugly. That and the little details are nicely done.
Thanks, Anet!

Agreed, imo this is the best dragon mask since the original. But I'd really like to see them start taking advantage of the costume slot and offer some body wear instead of just headgear at festivals.
I'm really hoping for costumes for Halloween this year, you couldn't pick a more perfect holiday to introduce them during either.

No thanks. The main reason I started loving this game is how much different chars look, with all those armours. Now we have costumes already, but they're so rarely bought that this doesn't even count. But think about free costumes. A lot of clones around. At least masks only cover a minimum part. Bleah no thanks.

That would be the perfect time to introduce a few different costume options for people to wear.

I have a feeling that costumes will always be a purchase item. They know people will pay for the costumes, so why would they provide some for free?

yeah and all those unique looking people you see, all wearing the same fow armor dyed black with chaos gloves Tons of people look the same already it's the people who mix/match armor sets that look different...usually.
if costumes were introduced as ingame rewards not everyone would wear them, just like not everyone wears the buyable ones now.

Ah stupid appendicitis made me miss the whole event. Being broke, I guess I'll ask for some leftover tokens from guildies. I like the mask.

Believe it or not, the district I play in has really few people with fow etc, maybe poor people or people with a better taste and/or more imagination.
